What are your gaming goals for 2016?

Whether it be 'I want to complete all the Final Fantasy games' or 'I want to get all the achievements in Nier' or 'I want to complete thirty games' - what is something you would like to accomplish with gaming in 2016?

Also, what is your favourite gaming accomplishment for 2015?

lol gaming goals. Maybe reach the building cap in my current Cities: Skylines save game. I think I'm about half way. But I can do that whenever.

These Crypt of the Necrodancer cheevos were probably the trickiest things I did in 2015, the Bard one in particular:

Requires completing all zones + bosses in 1 run, the Bard has only 1 life

To avoid as many shitty games as possible...

Time to sell my PC, I guess.

EDIT: Actually, my honest un-joking gaming 'goal' really would be to play less games, and spend that free leisure time listening to more music, seeing more films and taking up reading again. Video games are just swell when they're good, but on the whole I'm just so disillusioned with the typical quality of them that I'd rather be doing something else, and just play a small handful of outstanding games each year. Gaming is just too much a money sink, as well. Keeping up hardware wise to able to play the newest games at 60fps is too demanding, and I'm not willing to compromise on either the graphical fidelity or frame-rate. Movies, music and e-books have such lower requirements (and way less exclusivity horseshit) that it's just so refreshing.

To play a bit more. I barely played much of anything this entire year.

I wasn't going to respond to this thread originally as I don't really set myself gaming goals any more. Used to do the "play through my backlog before buying new games" goal but that ended up being kinda useless.

With three jobs and a large family I've found I spend less time "ad hoc" gaming and more time actually planning my time. Therefore my goal this year will be to only purchase games when I actually intend to pay them. I might pay a premium by missing sales but, in the long run, I'm sure it'll end up cheaper.

Been that way for the last 6 years now. I don't play online anymore so I couldn't care less about the community being non existant.

$5 to $15 for pc games seems to be the sweet spot for me, only wii u and 3ds games I pay over $30 for because they rarely go on sale.

I fully intend to play more PC games. I've already headed in that direction by playing a few games I picked up on the Steam sales.

I would absolutely love to get back into playing my 3DS and my Wii U, but as Smooth said, the cost is just a bit too crazy. I usually have no problem with paying $50+ for a game, but when it never goes down in price or goes on sale, that's frustrating. I have a hard time wanting to outlay $50+ for a 3DS game which I know I'll not play as often as I'll play something of equal value on my PS4.

Trying to be even more focused and dedicated to MMORPGs I play - like, sticking to one for longer than a year or two =)

Single player "to do" list: Maybe I'll find some time to check Undertale, The Darkest Dungeon or Pathologic 2!?
