All Scorch cards should burn in a fire.

I'm level 37 (recommended level for B&W) but I'm so clumsy returning to the combat that even the goons in H&S are giving me trouble. It would help if enemy targeting wasn't so broken on PS4. I'm currently doing that mission where you fight the Radovid deserters in the cave and without proper targeting I'm just flipping around the tiny space trying to land jabs and Aards.

It's a nice touch how the world has changed since the main game ended and there are now ex-Radovid soldiers raiding the countryside.

Does that mysterious merchant character in H&S actually appear in White Orchard at the start of the game? And if so was he in the vanilla version or added with H&S?

I'm digging H&S. It's neat how the quests are generally contained in Oxenfurt and the surrounding countryside to encourage riding around to see what's new in the area rather than simply fast travel from point to point.

I powered through Hearts of Stone about a month ago but I'm really struggling to find ay motivation to get through Blood and Wine. I think I'm just in a bit of a gaming slump, don't feel like playing anything, not even new games like Deus Ex or any of my old faithfuls.

I want to move onto XCOM 2 which I just bought but feel compelled to finish Blood and Wine. It's a lot of fun at first, and the main story is fine, but I quickly realized that most of the stuff in the world is very Assassin's Creed-y, just bandit camp/monster nest contracts and treasure hunts with no story attached. It's a bit disappointing. It's good, but the size gives you the impression that there's more to do when it's just bloated.
