For me Velen had the most interesting main story. Novigrad had the best side/underlying story Skellige looked the best but the sterotypical Scottish/Irish stuff kinda irked me. Kaer Morhen had the best battle mechanics. I wished they'd used stuff like that a bit more in the regular monster hunts. |

One thing I forgot to mention is that the day/night cycle is broken on PS4. Daytime works fine, but sometimes the sun is still shining in the middle of the night. I haven't noticed yet whether the people are behaving like it's day or night, but it's strange. |

So did anyone else dive from the bridge in Skellige to see what would happen? Spoilers: you land in the water. |

I think I might have done it and hit the rocks, but I can't remember. There's another broken bridge on the main isle where I attempted to jump over the gap (which you can) but instead Geralt dove right into the bottom of a boat and magically recovered. |

Y'know what? I forgave that fiend who swindled me out of 150 crowns by saying he was a stranded Novigradian when he was actually a Skelligean grifter. I hope he doesn't betray my kindness. Also I got my beard shaved before meeting with Yennefer specifically because a review mentioned the game's attention to detail by referencing Yennefer's comment on Geralt's grooming. But she ended up saying "Why did you decide to grow your beard out like that?" I WAS BEARDLESS AT TIME. MY IMMERSION. 3/10 Edited by Moo, Jul 4 2015, 02:58 AM.

I realize it's just a videogame thing and it doesn't bother me, but is there a story reason why Geralt's horse can cross rivers and oceans of its own accord? |

Dedly cereal, m8. Dedly. But yeah, I don't think there's any real explanation for Roach's always convenient proximity. So, it may as well be Yen teleporting her around for you. |

In the books Geralt always has a "Roach" but they're different horses. He just calls whatever one he's currently on "Roach" as it's easier. I don't believe that's what they did in the game though. I think they just did a "fuckit" let's make the horse appear wherever Edited by Derpstrom, Jul 4 2015, 10:56 PM.

There's a mission where you challenge Morvran Voorhis to a horse race. Just before the race, Geralt tells Voorhis that he calls all horses Roach. |

Yeah I knew he called all his horses Roach (found out in the scene MJ mentioned). I was just hoping this particular horse was a magic horse. Maybe Geralt's whistle is laden with dark magicks that bend the nearest steed to his will. Gwent is quite fun. I'm only a few cards away from a Scoateil (sp?) deck!
