Thread to discuss the Talos Principle without clogging up "what are you playing" :) If you post a spoiler please use spoiler tags.

Has anyone been able to figure out how to get up here? Looks like there's soemthing up there but Ic an't see an way up. It's at the top near the back of the starting building in Area B Door 5. Walk around the back and you can see it from near the edge of the water wheere you drown.

This game was highly recommended by Gametrailers last year, not that it helps with your question

How do you use these platforms?!

Ignore that. I just had to climb on a log so I was high enough I could jump on top of the platform being carreid.

I've looked all over the first area and can't find the star. The only point I haven't checked is past the laser gun that blocks you from the starting point. Yes or no: is it past there? Don't elaborate.

Couldn't tell you even if I wanted to :)

Some of them are really wierd and obscure. I probably won't bother going gfopr the stars as it just requires way to much investigation that's got too much of a luck component.

Edit : Just spent ten minutes searching and have found something I believe is important. Also a few inconsistencies (i.e. There's two areas that don't have the purple barriers on their doors).

Forgot how fucking huge that starter area is!!!

Yeah go for it. I managed to get back to the start but don't know if those extra jammers are useful for anything.

The first puzzle to stump me was "Don't Cross the Lines", which in retrospect was really a tutorial puzzle. Sometimes the size of the puzzle rooms can make it unclear what the parameters of the puzzle are. If that was in The Swapper I would've solved it straight away. I guess I can see the benefits though. Probably some clever crap down the line with these big areas.

"Deception" had me stumped, but when I figured out the solution I was just kinda "meh, okay."

I'm probably at around the 40th to 50th room now... I can't remember names :)

Here are some hints for Building A Room 1's star.

Hint 1

Hint 2

Thanks. I think I might just cheat with the stars because they're not in the same spirit as the puzzles. I will kill myself before I cheat on a puzzle!

I figured you wouldn't remember them by the names (hell, I wrote "Don't Cross the Streams" incorrectly minutes after doing it), but I can't take pics because laptop has no Internet in my room. "Biochromatic Entanglement" is my favourite so far. The first one where I was totally stumped before the entire solution just clicked in my head and made me feel good.

I decided to go for the stars when I found them/felt they were achievable but not to stres over it. In building C I just found an axe that I was able to take somewhere else and discover a secret area. I also found another secret area in one of the B levels that let me inside a building where there's a man thorwin money up in the air off a pile on a table yelling "money!" and laughing.

This game has so much in it :)

This is Bichromatic Entanglement:

It took me forever to figure out that you had to set up the first connector like in the video.

FFS... took me way too long to realise that barrier was purple not blue! derp. Not even a tricky puzzle... I just wasn't paying enough attention :)
