I don't know his name. Hlafway between Father and BSB. There's a part where you have to navigate the area moving from cover to cover as this dude's firing a machine gun at you. When you reach his tower you can fight him but he kept machine gunning me then visceral attacking me which was brutal. I might have a screenshot actually (was recording)

Oh, haha. On my first playthrough I immediately went nuts on him and knocked him over the edge, assuming he was just a typical villager. Second playthrough he killed me about 4 times.

He's a dick but I accidentally knocked him off the edge too. Just charged, attacked a few times and he fell off

Maybe they've patched that then as I did charge attacks a few times and he flew into an invisible barrier and stayed there.

If you leave the game running for more than 12 hours there's a memory leak that makes bosses much easier because they can't function properly.

I hope people find more cool glitches. It's cool when a game's glitches actually make it more fun, like Ocarina of Time.

God I hate the blood vial system. It's like the bad version of DS2's degenerating health punishment. That was a minor inconvenience but was easily manageable, and which even at it's worse didn't cripple you to the point where you can't keep playing. Bloodborne's punishment makes you incapable of facing the game's challenges until you've gone farming in Central Yarnham.

I'm currently up to the SoY fight and have no clue how I aced it the first time around. Possibly because I had a faster weapon.

I've not got to a point where I've needed to farm yet but I can see why you'd find it frustrating. Introduces a new element to a game that shouldn't have it. Almost be nicer if they just refilled your 20 when you died and left it at that. Or refilled at a lamp like the Estus Flask.

The first time around it didn't bother me as much, probably because I was being way more cautious. I only ever ran out a few times at the start and at the very end against the tough final boss. But now that I'm just screwing around it's hurting me bad and I can't be bothered farming. Auto-refilling 20 at each lantern/death would've been great. I would've even accepted a punishment like sacrificing your dropped blood echoes for vials, or having your cap decreased after each death until you use some equivalent of DS2's humanity item.

They released an update that reduces load times and adds item descriptions to the load screens.

I pretty much did although, to be fair, it wasn't just this game. I've not been playing any video games much. Started watching Sopranos and had quite a few Another Dungeon things that were taking up my spare time.

I'll get back to it eventually
