Also people like you Dave, who have to have their coffee every single day because they depend on the energy is exactly why I don't drink it often. I don't want to get to the point where I can't function and I get headaches because I need caffeine.
I don't depend on the energy. I just like the flavour and warmth to start my day. I often don't drink it on weekends or when I'm in a rush to get to work.
Not you. I was talking to Dave.

Gosh!

rancilio silvia v3 + compak k3 touch grinder, mainly just drink espresso..source my beans from a friend who is even more into it..he bought roaster so he can roast his own beans. :)
Twins. I've a Silvia as well, though no serious grinder at the moment. The cafe I work at is right at the end of my street, so I can grind beans on their Mazzers when I need to.

Do you live in Melbourne? If so, where would you get your Silvia serviced? My group head has cracked and it's causing some bad channeling and it's a pain to clean up after every coffee.
Sorry can't help you there, Im in Adelaide..mine is only about 3yrs old..I think. :p

My wife makes coffee with this thing. It's loud and seems to take her ages, but she loves it.

I don't drink coffee, so I've got this thing that makes me the perfect cup of tea.

What's taht thing to the right onf your teabox?

Also, now that I've made a few coffees with my machine, I have to say it is excellent! Especially for latte's and cappuccinos. Still prefer alternate methods for short blacks but this still does a decent enough job that the time save is worthwhile. Can't wait for the next time we have people over and I don't have to spend 15 minutes making everyone a coffee! This one you just choose the strength, coffee type then hit go :)

It's one of those pod machines. You can see the pods to the left of the coffee maker.

It's pretty good and makes a nice hot choc. All you need to do is run the hot chocolate pod and then a milk pod and you're done. Nice and fast.
