Another iPad game. This time, Deus Ex Go. I've only been playing for a little while, but it's quite promising. There's also an opportunity to earn Praxis kits for use in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, which releases later this month.
Looks interesting. Which of Hitman Go and Lara Croft Go would you say it is closer to? Or does it do its own thing? I definitely found Hitman Go to be the more satisfying of the previous games in the series.

I've barely scratched the surface, but I'd say it plays more like Hitman Go, yet it's fully animated like Lara Croft Go.

How is mirrors edge catalyst anyway.

People were clamoring another one. Then it just came and went.

I'm about 4 hours in, but so far I'm really enjoying it. It looks great, the gameplay is fluid and it feels like a polished sequel. As for the story, I'm glad I read the comics first. If I hadn't, things would be a little confusing.

Up until now, I hadn't really paid attention to the reviews. However, I can see they've been pretty polarising. The critics seem mostly happy, but users are very bitter. I'm not sure why, but nothing seems to appease the gaming masses these days.

Some more screens:

MJ - How are you finding the lack of in game tutorial (for things like the shield upgrade or hacks)? I'm not a huge fan of puzzle games that don't really explain the controls. A bit of tapping around to figure out how things works usually gets me to understand it but a line of text saying "this works like this" would have been nice IMO.

In Deus Ex Go? Some guidance would be nice, but I haven't been too bogged down yet. There seems to be a bit of trial and error across the whole game, including hacks, etc.

Nvidia's Ansel is now working with the Witcher 3.

This is the same in-game photo tool I used to capture the Mirror's Edge Catalyst screenshots above. There's a few more games lined up, but I hope they expand on this in the near future.

Here's some quick grabs from my current save spot in the Witcher 3:

Since I'm into collages at the moment, here's one from Persona Dancing All Night, which I recently finished.

I decided to have a quick peak at No Man's Sky. Unfortunately, there appears to be issues. The performance is poor and despite selecting 1980x1080, the game appears to be very low resolution. Some claim it's currently locked to 720p.

I plan to (digitally) shelve it and return once I've finished Mirror's Edge. Hopefully, it'll be patched and good to go by then.
GoG just released a patch for No Man's Sky.

I just had a quick go and everything seems to be working well now. No more stuttering and the resolution switch is actually working. It's looking a lot better.

The few screenshots I've posted represent about 15 minutes of game time. I want to finish Mirror's Edge before I jump into it. However, I've started the game about 10 times in an effort to fix the resolution bug, and every single time, I start on a different habitable planet populated by large life forms. Unless it's programmed to start you off on such worlds, their virtual universe is a planet hunter's dream come true.

No photos of the unwilling adventures of Mr Jensen? Come on! I'm working back late (away from my PC) and surviving on GO.
