Plus, a bonus video!

I read that if you play this while in a port-a-loo the guards will steer clear of it.

No, I try the originals once a year because they're supposed to be classics.
Oh they are classics, but it sounds like you should stop beating that dead horse. Why not take a year off and play a something else? I recommend Sonic Team's NiGHTS.
Or, I should just stop trying. No love lost.

Sega does what Nintendon't: die in the 90s.
Fuck_Giver.exe has stopped working!
Does it matter how I write the truth?

I agree with MJ. Rayman and Sonic have both evolved since their origins and are different titles to what they used to be. Comparing what Rayman is now to what Sonic was in the 90s isn't really a fair comparison.

That said I'm still not a fan of the Sonic games. Purely because, in the ones I've played at least, they seem built towards a nice flowing running game however the level design doesn't feel like it accommodates. The first two were my favourites however I'm not sure how much fo that is nostalgia. Same thing goes with my love of Megaman games. Played the first six again recently and they're bloody annoying - yet I still really enjoyed myself reliving the memories and trying to remember the patterns and tricks.

There was one I absolutely loved on Dreamcast. I can't remember it exactly except that it had an open hub world in the middle and you could hatch eggs on the VMU.

That sounds like Sonic Adventure 1 or 2.

You did mention Nights before, that looks a bit like the clown boss.

It's an interesting point and click adventure game, but I'd have to sink a few more hours before I could say any more about it.

SUPERHOT is another interesting game. Time moves only when you move and you feel a little like Neo from the Matrix.

I'm curious to see how it plays with just a regular monitor. I played it at PAX two years ago and it was really enjoyable there - the key thing was though that it was VR.

I wasn't aware it was being made for VR too. So far, it's a decent looking game.

I started playing it as a FPS, but soon realised I need to treat it like a puzzler. The first hour can also be a drag as it feels much like an extended tutorial or demo. However, the story ramps up soon after. So far, it's not bad for an impulse buy.

Yeah, it worked really well in VR. So, obviously time stops when you don't move - but with the VR you could turn and look at the bullet that almost killed you. I'm curious to hear whether it translates well to a full blown game.

Yeah that's easily my most anticipated VR game. It was really clever
