It's pretty good. They've done a nice job of blending an arcade beat-'em-up with RPG elements. The visual style of some female characters is over the top, but it's still a fantastic looking game with beautiful artwork and supporting soundtrack. The fellow who narrates the game is perfect for it as well. He adds a touch of humour, without taking it too far. My only negative is that after about 5 hours, you'll start a repetitive process of revisiting old levels to go on fetch quests. If you've got PS Plus, it's worth the download to try!

I bought it day 1 as I was a fan of their other stuff. Wasn't a huge fan of the game though as it felt more of a grind to level up than mixup of gameplay... which, ironically, is exaclty the same as Muramasa and about a billion other games I love. Go figure.

Funny, I started Muramasa on Vita and shelved it after about 30 mins and moved on to this!

Horses for courses right? I just found the movement more fluid and fast paced in Muramasa. I could respond better to what was happening on screen whereas, with DDs I felt that each move committed you and... oh I dunno. I enjoyed the first part but the replaying of levels annoyed me and then the third part where you have to replay but the level selection is random just felt like an unecessaryu way to stretch it.

I've only just started replaying levels and I'm already getting a little over it. As for Muramasa, I don't think I gave it a fair go, so I'll try it again later. I had just come off FFXHD and for some reason it didn't feel like the right game to jump into next. I'm not sure why Dragon's Crown worked.

Probably the same reason Deadpool is working for me as a follow on from Dark Souls 2. You need something to dit the mood after a long dedicated game

Deus Ex: HR is so good that even the police play it while on duty

Too bad they're not very good at it. I stood behind him for 5 minutes and he couldn't get past the menu.

Did you guys ever play Doom 3? If you stand behind the guy at the start of the game and look over his shoulder you can see he's typing a message. Stand there a while and he starts typing about how rude you are reading over his shoulder :)

I'm probably gonna log back in once the living world season 2 starts.

That achievement reward system was like implemented 9 months ago lol. That game literally changes something about the user interface every month.

The last feature patch was really nice. You have a skin unlocking system now, redone sigils/runes and better aesthetic integration into PvP along with some reward tracks. The traits system is more convenient. They also redid the way world exploration works, it's in one big server so every zone has people in it and you no longer have to guest to play with someone on another server. Also, Lions Arch was destroyed.

WvW is pretty much still the same, bar the menu and a massive new map (that's abit to big to find fights). Edit: they removed the water in the middle of the borderlands. Edit 2: There's this big community arena in the Obsidian Sanctum jumping puzzle now as well.
