Well I only saw him in a panel and we were about 40 rows back from the stage. Not sure he would have appreciated me yelling that out. Then again I could have thanked him for his recommendation of Desert Golfing :)

I would have paid to have seen that.

Chickan: I FINISHED YOUR GAME. I FEEL RIPPED OFF. FIVE BUCKS WAS TOO MUCH. MUCH TOO SHORT. BUT I LIKED YOUR RECOMMENDATION FOR DESERT GOLFING.
Jingles: Interesting. Here's five dollars for your opinion.

I just completed the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands. It was such an enjoyable and funny start to what I hope is a successful new series for Telltale. Even if you feel a little burnt out on Telltale games, this one feels different enough to make it a fresh experience. Recommended for everyone, go play!

Pretty sure more people are burnt out on Borderlands than they are on Telltale.

After the Vita version, I'm very much burnt out on Borderlands. However, the same thing applies - feels like a fresh experience all-round.

Finished Wasteland 2 yesterday, quite an enjoyable experience. Really sucked me in like Fallout 1 did. Would recommend.

Seems like Telltale are working hard at the moment with Game of Thrones coming out tomorrow so very soon after Borderlands. I suppose they have separate teams working on them, plus it probably helps that they are ~2 hour long episodes.

I still have to finish The Walking Dead season 1. Never got around to starting episode 3, and I was liking it, not sure why I didn't continue. I would also really like to play The Wolf Among Us, when it came out that looked pretty damn good. But it didn't get anywhere near the amount of attention TWD got so I'm not sure what that means.

I thought The Wolf Among Us started off very strong, but failed to build upon it as the season went on. There was also some long delays between earlier episodes, which turned me off it a little. However, it was still a decent season and I think you'd enjoy it.

Wolf Among Us was better than Walking Dead Season 2.

I'm glad I haven't been playing the episodes as they come out, that would drive me nuts. People seem all around disappointed with TWD season 2, seems like a shame.

I haven't finished Season 2 yet but so far I'm liking it. Not sure what people's complaints are but it's been good for the first few chapters.
Main thing I don't like is that it's more illusion of choice rather than actually giving you a choice IMO.
It'd be better if they had the time to have multiple endings (although it would limit the ability for sequels)

I finished playing South Park: The Stick of Truth on the weekend. I played as the Jew class, which had some interesting power moves such as Circum-Scythe. It was short by RPG standards but about standard for other genres, which suited me fine. I might even give one of the other classes a go.

I liked some of the references to South Park lore, such as how most of your companions play dead when they get knocked out in combat except for Kenny who actually gets killed and eaten by rats only to come back to life a few turns later. While some bits of the plot essentially rehashed parts of popular episodes (underpants gnomes, ManBearPig, Lemmiwinks, etc), there was also a decent amount of new material.

I dunno, probably just not quite as good as the first season. Still has great review scores though.

I finished Saint's Row 2 yesterday. Took me quite a while to get through it. At this point I'm not sure if I enjoyed it more than SR3 or not. It had a surprisingly good story that I got far more invested in than I did with SR3. But SR3 had more of the dumb, over-the-top shit that I really liked.

I'm going to be SR4 because it's only $5 right now. I'm not sure if I'm ready to play it so soon after SR2 though.

The Sr series had a great start, with you being involved in taking the saints from nothing to being the head gang. For me 4 is where they lost it and the new Gat outa hell DLC looks to be even dumber.
I think it'd be good to start again with a gang at the bottom again
