I'm gonna give Dishonored another spin when I tire of Rayman but my initial thoughts were kinda meh. That said I only got up to what I believe is the first genuine mission in the game (after that dream sequence) so who knows. I'm not crazy about the steampunk setting and maybe it's cause I just finished The Last of Us but the stealth didn't grab me, at least not yet. |

What final outcome did you choose? I shacked up with the farm dude and chose life. |

I shacked up with the cyclops and chose life. Felt it was more the choice she woulda made. Could have been largely due to the fact I thought Joel (the farm guy) was the homeless guy and I couldn't figure why she'd go with him ![]() I liked the homeless story for thta particular decision best however I found it unrealistic she'd choose them considering her thoughts during that chapter of the game. Vague enough not to spoil?

I don't think anything we have said would make any sense to someone who hasn't played the game. If they are currently playing the game it's still not too bad. I felt more chemistry with Joel. The family seemed to really embrace Ellie, something genuine about them, hence why I choose them. It felt like Ellie could be who she is on the farm without judgement. Cyclops was a nice dude but he kind of used Ellie a bit through work. |

I kinda want to play the game again in coop as I think it could be fun to play with Aiden being "not me" controlled. Pity it's only local coop |

Now that's something Sony's PlayStation Now could offer as a genuinely new service: since you're streaming games to the customer's console, why couldn't you stream the same game to two customers' consoles and let them play a game that only supported local multi-player together over the Internet? |

No I'm just aware of the multiple endings. Just like with heavy rain I was planning on trophy whoring with all endings but ultimately could not be fucked. In my story I just met up with him in some Park and dumped his ass. |

I'm going to play thru it a few more times as I enjoyed it but the local coop compelte playthru thing pretty much ensures I'm not gonna bother with that trophy. Unless my wife decides to play with me ... which I really doubt |

Finished Ratchet & Clank 3 a few days ago (but immediately started again). Really enjoyable and best of the original trilogy IMO. Had the polish of the second with the fun of the first and all the stupid mini game stuff refined so it was enjoyable. Still doesn't knock "Crack in Time" off its perch as my favourite but it's probably a contender for second |

Knocked off The Swapper last night. An interesting puzzler with a good story. The puzzles certainly ramp up near the end quite a bit and require a lot more thought planning than I have. Short, looks good, and plays well. 8/10. |

I finished off Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon last night. It is a fun little game. When I was first playing it, I was finding the colour balance to be a bit of a problem: everything that wasn't bright neon coloured was dark grey or red. This was a bit annoying when trying to be stealthy and not knowing whether I was still hidden by some foliage. Eventually I just stopped trying to pay as much attention to that kind of detail and was a lot happier going forward. The changes they made relative to FC3 made the game feel fresh: the faster running speed and the lack of fall damage changed the way I played. For instance, the "death from above" takedowns now extend to jumping off a tall tower or a cliff to land on your enemy, walking away unscathed. And where Far Cry 3 let you upgrade your sniper rifle with a silencer for use in stealth, Blood Dragon upgrades it with explosive rounds. I liked the throw-back cut scenes, including the obligatory training montage at the end. I was a bit surprised that the final battle was in the form of an on-rails shooting segment, but the fact that you were riding on the back of a blood dragon made up for it

I played the demo but I found the jokes way too on-the-nose and it turned me off. |

I played the beginning of Far Cry 3 and didn't mind it but nothing that has made me want to return to it immediately. |

To each their own. Some of the parts I liked were the cut scene with the training montage and awkward sex scene, and the song that plays over the closing credits. |

Didn't really intend to but I was supervisoring contractors and had nothing else to do. Took a long, long time so I was glad I'd decided to bring in my PS3
