Looks like you must have been lucky: it says $24.99 for me now, with Red Alert 2 as the current "on the house" game.

Origin have a few decent savings on now.

I picked up this...

...and I have my eye on this...

Has anyone played it? Is it friendly to newcomers, or should I purchase the first two and play them?

I was considering Inquisition too. I really didn't like the first game though so haven't really gone back to give the series another shot.

Grabbed the Sims 4 from that sale for $29!

Dragon Age Inquisition will probably feel incredibly underwhelming if you've played the Witcher 3

It's a good game in its own right, though.

Steam Sale is on now. I highly reccommend Endless Legend, Ori & the Blind Forest, Cities Skylines, Darkest Dungeon and The Talos Principle. Some other good stuff on there, too.

I might grab Ori and also that Undertale game if that's going to go on sale.

I think Undertale is overrated, personally. It's worth getting if it's cheap: it has some funny scenes and dialogue. I don't understand why people love it, but that said I never finished it.

Given the amount of 9's and 10's around for it, I'll need to give it a shot for sure.

How does Mad Max with pre order DLC for $17 AU sound?

http://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/mad-max-pc

CD Key Only.
PC Version.
Requires Steam
They SMS you a vlidation code so you do need to give them your mobile

All that said I literally just purchased it a few minutes ago. Their methods are legit although what they do with my phone number now.... I dunno. Don't care really - I have Mad Max!!!

Saw the deal for mad max but not interested no matter how cheap.

Cdkeys also selling just cause 3 for 30 something dollars. That is tempting.

Whilst I do really enjoy Mad Max, it isn't for everyone. If you don't have a tolerance for these kinds of open world games then it might not be for you. (By 'these open world games' I mean the sort that can get repetitive quickly.)

You don't have a Vita do you? I'm curious to see what you think of Tearaway Unfolded.

I have a vita and have played the original game, im really concerned on how much the new game differs from the original. I dont mean in regards to the control scheme but the actual story itself, I didnt do much research on the game prior to buying it. I had a bit more credit than I expected and just got it because it was so cheap.

Not against open world games, I just dont like Mad Max franchise enough to warrant buying the game, I did check out reviews on it and it was getting 6s and 7s so its not an essential game to get, but obviously Mad Max fans would like the game regardless of score.

Depends. I'm not a Mad Max fan per say - even though I love Fury Road, I have only seen the first Mad Max once - and I gave it an 8/10. It's a lot of fun and does a lot right even though there are some issues.

I hear that Tearaway Unfolded does slightly change up things a little and is a better version of the Vita game. One day I'll get it...

It appears to be back on. Hopefully it lasts a little longer than last time.

Yep. Looks like it has stuck around for more than just a few hours this time. Thanks.
