Worth it?
The controls are weird and the whole concept is preposterous, but it's also very original and so much fun. I think you'd enjoy it and it's worth the asking price. As for picking it up as a PS Plus freebie, the developers have said it's not likely.

Assassin's Creed Pirates is only 15c on the Google Play store. I think it's usually ~$7.

Throw some money their way. You'll love it and won't regret whatever price you pay. Plus it'll give you something besides BF4 to play on your PS4

Looks like the Transistor soundtrack is on sale too.

The soundtrack is well worth it. The soundtrack has been updated to version 2.0 to add more tracks to go along with the sale.

You know, it's been a while since I've played BF4. I need to play a few more rounds. Been playing a lot of Guacamelee! and Towerfall Ascension, which I may add is a shit load of fun.

You're in a tower, where you can fall and when you fall, you pop out the top of the screen. Highly recommend playing as the local co-op is fucking great.

Yes, especially with four players, and it's easy to pick up for beginners.
