That's the subject of many memes and I think it's just a broken mechanic

Not so much a broken mechanic as the lesser of two evils. I would much rather it the way it is than being spotted every time the AI spazzes out. Then again, AI that doesn't do that would be preferable, although a pretty big ask.

As far as Tess (the companion you're talking about) goes, that's really only one line, the rest of her characterisation seems to come from her actions rather than explicitly stated (the stuff with Robert at the beginning as well as some later stuff). I saw that line more as an insight into their relationship, you get that they've known each other for quite a while and that it may have been more serious previously.

Yeah I find it takes me out of the moment a bit and am surprised they didn't fix it but it's still MUCH more preferable to them aggroing every second clicker we come across.

Tess - Not bothered by her any more. And the one line I mentioned was just an example. Can't be bothered going into detail about what bothered her about me as

but I'm finding the game dialogue heaps better now. Super impressed with the game so far in terms of story and gameplay. Whilst there are still clearly defined starts and ends of stelath areas and horde attacks they cover it quite well. I'm also getting a nice feeling of progression and not too much filler.

I thought this was going to change when I first met Bill as we needed a car and were givent he task of getting parts from 3 areas of town. Heart sunk a little but they quickly put a stop to that and changed up the story nicely.

Hard to talk about without spoilers but I can't wait to see where the story is going and I expect I'm going to enjoy playing my way there :)

I don't think that would be too hard. Why? Did you have trouble with it? I thought you were supposed to be a writer!! Didn't you buy a Mac and start hanging around in coffee shops with a beret?

The Last of Us is doing a great job of scaring the crap out of me. builds up the tension nicely and makes enemies tough eniugh that i dont rush in. atmosphere is great. reminds me of some of the resi evil games or the first dead space :) gotta go... i think i hear a clicker (but it's probably just a creaking door)

Skyrim. Quick question; is there an "end" to this game? I.e. do the credits roll or anything? I just

and that kinda felt like the end to me but I still have to finish off the quests for the civil war.

Loving the way everything ties together but just wondering if there's an end as such

I can't remember encountering one, and I did all the major quest lines. Didn't even think about it til you mentioned it. Oblivion had one after the main quest was over, if I remember correctly.

Yeah I kinda remember Morrowind and Oblivion having "ends" despite being able to go back and do all the side stuff after. That's why I was surprised I hadn't seen one yet
