Don't listen to Jingles it's worth every penny even if you only play through it once.

I agree it's worthwhile playing through, even though I didn't love it, but if he waits for October (unless he's dying to play something now) it'll be $45 or so.

Jingles you make a great point. I bought it because I'm a compulsive shithead.

(15-20 hours isn't that bad. I just didn't want to buy something I'd finish in a couple of turns. Plus maybe the DLC it comes with makes it a little longer??)

DLC is a few hours long, plus the multiplayer is quite good if you're into that. I would also highly recommend playing on Hard difficulty.

Started on Fez this afternoon. Beautiful looking game and I can see it being addictive as well. Looking forward to really getting into it.

Fez is goat.

Was the first game in years where I had to write stuff down just to solve some of its puzzles. So old schoolz

I'm digging TLOU so far but damn me if the post-credits section doesn't crib heavily from the opening of Half-Life 2.

Started playing Far Cry 3 a few days ago. Really liking it, has everything I liked about Far Cry 2 but without anywhere near as much annoying bullshit.
Fuck_Giver.exe has stopped working!
Does it matter how I write the truth?

I found it had the best mix of stuff I liked from #1 and stuff I liked from #2 but without the negatives. Don't know why it works so well as it's really just a series of shit on repeat spattered with occasional story bits but man oh man it was fun! :)

I've stalled on playing Far Cry 3. Haven't gotten far into it, but haven't felt the desire to jump back into it. Just like Sleeping Dogs - I think I'm going to have to let that one go, I just didn't love it enough.

Time for me to put the Ratchet & Clank games aside and play Fez. Ratchet & Clank 3 can come back in to the play cycle once I'me finished with Gomez and have, once again, run out of portable games to play :)

Loving it so far. PResentation is fantastic and I like the style/humor

I was reading a complaint about Fez over the weekend about how ugly it looks. Which I think is a really terrible complaint because there's a lot of depth to the game and it's a really damn nice looking game. Haven't played it on the Vita yet though.

Fez looks amazing

The pixel art even has some shader depth to some of the blocks that transition the illusion of light when you rotate.

I can tolerate people being sick of pixel art, since it's overused. But Fez is pixel art at its finest.

I agree - it's a stunning looking game at times. Just really beautiful. The shades of blue are fantastic. Heck, the whole idea of the layout of the levels is just really pleasing to look at.

I'm neither here nor there on pixel art. Yes it's slightly overused now, but it still takes a lot of skill to turn something that 'simple' looking into something that actually looks inoffensive for an 8-10 hour game.
