But the thing is there isn't any existing AI in it at all so they'd have to create new AI just to do that.
Yes there is. How do you think the computer controlled characters move?
I think we're talking about two different things. I'm talking about the multiplayer.
I haven't seen any clips about it so I don't know a great deal. Is it just multiplayer again? No SP?
There'll be both SP and MP. But, given the team behind doing the SP, it's going to be better than your usual Battlefield SP.

Is that uploaded to youtube straight through the game?

Pretty sweet video.
Yeha. After each race you get a highlights reel. You can chop and change camera angles, what to focus on, etc. and, once complete, upload it to Miiverse and Youtube. Nice of Nintendo to actually be fairly current with online features in one of their games :)

Few more on my channel if interested. Trying to only upload interesting ones (except for Donut Plains which was just to show a friend I used to play SNEs with what it looked like now :) )

Here's one I just uploaded. Love the way I crossed the finish line :D

Think I've discovered all the shortcuts I need now so time to go back to 150cc :)

Well then my original point remains. The AI is the "rules" they've put in there to govern how the non people characters move in SP. It's not a big stretch to take their already established base and add some new behavious for civilians. Doesn't matter whether it's SP or MP, the base programming has been done.

If the team behind the Singleplayer is the same people making Dead Space, then I wouldnt hold my breath for the campaign.

(Dead Space games arent very good)

It seems a bit early to say that the single player of Hardline will be better than previous games, given they haven't said anything about it so far. Especially if most of the money/effort goes into MP.

The article I linked to above discusses the SP a little. I loved the Dead Space games so will be very excited to see what these guys can bring to Battlefield. I think the SP will actually be worthwhile playing this time for sure. The 'meaningful moments' in BF4 were so terrible and cheesy that it was almost offensive.

Wii Homebrew is awesome. My Wii is now a NES, SNES, N64, GBA, DS and PSX all in one. Runs smoothly and it seems every game is compatible with the GameCube controller. So much better than running emulators on a PC.

Really? I love emus on my PC. Have all the old controllers (with USB connections and drivers) so they feel really good. Only one I didn't get a controller for was the gamecube but I was able to get a converter. Didn't bother me much anyway though as I never really liked that controller.

Just played an hour of a game called Blood of the Werewolf that I bought for $2.09 this morning on Steam. It's a pretty decent and already fairly challenging platformer with a cartoony art style similar to Guacamelee. But with more of a linear level structure like the original Castlevania. Also has a theme similar to Castlevania with old-school B-grade horror movie monsters and such.

The combat and platforming feels alright. It can be a little fiddly but for the most part it's tight enough to get through the areas where timing is crucial. I quite like it, it's nothing great, but I'd say it's worth it for $2 if you feel in the mood for something like that.

Totalbiscuit has a video on it which is what convinced me to get it:

When I played games on PC I used the keyboard and played on the computer screen. Now I can play them on TV with the GameCube controller. I am satisfied.

State of Decay. It's really enjoyable.

it's surprisingly ambitious with some nice ideas that come together well. Gameplay mixes elements of XCOMs base/troop management, The Sims' social dynamics, Dead Risings timed stuff and Saints Row driving/combat; giving them their own zombie apocalypse flavour that just makes sense. It's mostly inspired by The Walking Dead in terms of its rural setting and tone as you're working as an enclave with multiple people to deal with as opposed to an individual and it ties stealthy scavenging and mental tensions into gameplay well.

But like most ambitious games, there's alot of flaws and frustrations tied with the game. It doesnt explain its concepts at all (and there is alot of things to comprehend). There are also some mechanics in the game that seem deliberate, yet annoying; particularly with the dynamic mission system that can have your community members pester you for help. Navigation and interface is very poor and it doesnt help that opening up the map doesnt pause the action. The save system is basically a persistent autosave so you cannot load at a certain point and there is permadeath here, where the game autosaves after someone dies lol.

But all this combines for some exciting and stressful emergent moments. The feeling of being stranded is a tense one. There's something engaging when stealthily looting for supplies in a home and I've had some and a fair share of moments where I had to jump out of the window run to my parked vehicle and went "START THE CAR!, START THE CAR!".

Rather do it on PC, supports more than just nintendo consoles, big one being arcade mame. I use controller for console games and arcade sticks for mame emulation.

Pc emulate wii better than wii does wii.

My pc is connected to tv as well

"so much better than running emulators on a PC" wasn't a proclamation of technical superiority. it just meant i like chilling on a couch with a controller in front of the TV rather than at a computer keyboard. and yes I know it's possible to do the latter with couch/control/TV but just let me enjoy this little thing of mine.

You are the ome whol claimed superiority by raising the whole issue. Im happy that you enjoy the wii a whole lot more now but its not ok for me to mention fact.

What is wrong with you dude. Is it because i said it. Tankenspank said virtually the same thing as I did.

I apologise if my post came off harsh, im posting on my phone and wanted to be more direct with my post rather than covering it up with cotton wool.
