Skip the tutorials. They don't tell you anything the hints won't tell you anyway. There's too much info to retain so it's better to learn the game by playing it. I just Google stuff when I'm lost.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. So far so good. Nice bright colours. So much easier to control than the stupid wiimote and nunchuck combo which is what turned me off the last Donkey Kong game. Just found the motion controls terrible. Quite challenging already and finding the remaining puzzle pieces is going to be difficult but I'll give it a shot.

I haven't played it but I listened to some of the soundtrack (because it's composed by the guy from the original Country games) and it's possibly the best videogame soundtrack ever.

I mean listen to that.

It's a very very nice soundtrack. Best soundtrack ever? Well, that still goes to Journey for me, but I get the hyperbole you were going for.

Who are you playing as?

Give it time. It took me about two hours to get a grasp on it and I'm still learning new things 20 hours in.

I'll be interested to see how you enjoy this. I love platformers and found this one to be really dull. Also, if you ever find a game that you think sucks with the wiimote/nunchuck, you should check and see if it supports classic controller. Made Donkey Kong Country REturns a HEAP better for me :)

Started on Ico and South Park: Stick of Truth tonight. Ico is ok so far, Yorda is a little annoying to help move through the environment.

South Park is damn good. Hilarious, lots of fun to play. Very similar to Costume Quest in a way.

Anybody got tips for passing the bomb abortion on PS3? I keep getting stuck on the second part of it. No matter how fast or slow I go, the bomb blows up.

Been playing Murdered: Soul Suspect lately. It's not the greatest game going around but I'm enjoying it for what it is so far, the story is interesting enough and there are hundreds of items to collect that flesh out some of the story and characters.

I've got the Australian version too which is why I was a bit surprised to see it in there. It's when you're in Mr Slave and have to deactivate the bomb.

I went Mage. The fights are pretty good with him - although maxed out he's pretty OP as well. I'll do a Jew run next to clean up a few trophies and hopefully go for the platinum.

I started playing Deadpool last night. I played through the first chapter, and found it fun so far -- hopefully it keeps that up.

It's a shame that Activision lost the right to sell the game so soon after releasing it.
