Without spoiling it can you guys tell me if it's worth replaying Hotline Miami to look for all those puzzle pieces? I found about half and had started replaying. Lot's more fun now I know what I'm doing and have decent masks (although I keep using the frog one to maximize my score). Anyway I'm interested in going for it if it gives a different ending or some further insight into the story but I don't wanna go thru scouring each level if it's just a bullshit trophy or "congrats" message |

It's nothing special. Just a weird message. As far as I know at least, I could have missed something. I think they are there as an extra bit of challenge. |

I'm 4 letters away now and am fairly certain I know which level's they're on (cleaver man). This game is so much easier the second time thru! Only using the combo extender mask too so it's not like I have any perks to help me out. Also just realised you can press square to lock on to the nearest enemy. That woulda been super useful to know during the ame. I was frantically tapping the screen or trying to aim with the right a-stick which was a nuisance |

Pretty sure the tutorial in the pc version told you how to lock on. Could be wrong. But it is extremely useful. Not sure how you'd play without it using analog sticks. |

I actually just found a neat "trick" which lets me get super high combos. I just hold the right trigger down when holding a knife then run with left stick and aim with right stick. One hit kill people just by running into them. Surprisingly effective although I feel cheaty now. Oh well, will be good for finding these two remaining puzzle pieces }:[ Edit : Wow, the puzzle pieces change the final dialogue and made heaps of difference to me. I think I understand the story now. I'll post my thoughts in the "what have you finished" thread Edited by Derpstrom, Apr 30 2014, 03:51 PM.

Looks like I was wrong about the missing manual with the PSN version of Mass Effect: you can conveniently access it by quitting out of the game to the title screen, picking "Extras" and then "Manual". |

Raged at KH1.5, cannot beat giant Ursula boss so I decided to stop for a bit and start new game. Started Beyond 2 Souls. Just happy that I actually played a game today, its been over a month that I have even attempted to play one. |

How is it? I've got it and have been wanting to play it but, like with Heavy Rain, I have to be in the right mood for that sort of thiung |

Its more or less the same as Heavy Rain, I liked that game so I expected to like Beyond 2 Souls. My main gripes with this game so far is the slow motion actions which feels pretty cool when you pull it off successfully but most of the times it feels like guess work, slightly clumsy. The other is switching between human mode to the soul mode, I actually get a little head spin from the controls, which at times feel sloppy, also the camera can fuck shit up at times. Its a little strange playing as a girl lead character, I know Heavy Rain had one female character but this is a little more personal. Its kind of weird being a teenage/child woman for periods through out the game. I like the story so far and it has some intense moments and rather it be more thriller like in Heavy Rain it has more of a supernatural feel to it. Sweet. I'll have to move it up the play order then... right after Dark Souls 2 and Child of Light though. They're two of my "must plays" for the year ![]() Are you using move or controller? |

I wanted to use Move but it has no support for it Looks like Quantic Dream scrapped support, read somewhere the official reason for it, I read in between the lines and read it as we cant be fucked supporting Move. I must say another difference between this game and Heavy Rain is that its actually less varied in the control scheme. For example in Heavy Rain you had a lot more button sequences and variety with stick movements such as do half circle etc. Beyond 2 souls I havent seen more than a 2 button sequence so far and its as about complicated as hold R2/L1, I'm half way through the game and am playing on "I play video games lots" difficultly. |

After replaying the Walking Dead recently, I found I don't mind that style of gameplay, but the problem is it doesn't open up for second run throughs very much as you tend to know the story and are more just going through the motions. |
