Been playing some Guacamelee and it's been great so far. Definitely feels at home on the Vita which I've been neglecting since I finished Tearaway.
Also still playing ACIV on PS4 which I'm on sequence 12 out of 13. Without spoiling much let's just say I'm really sad about what's been happening up to this point in the story.

I just bought and have been playing Gaucamelee as well. It is a really cool game. Didn't realise it had such a deep combat system either. I was expecting much more simplistic combat in favour of platforming and stuff. I'm a few hours in and have just gone up the Tule Tree and man some of the platforming sections get real crazy all of a sudden. AND YOU CAN TURN INTO A CHICKEN! Best game ever.

Also played the first couple of hours of Crysis 2, which is okay. It certainly looks fantastic but I'm not sure if I'm a huge fan of how it plays yet. Just modern shooter problems are starting to irk me I think. I've never had much of a problem with it before but I may be starting to get tired of modern characteristics of this genre.

I'm still also playing Luigi's Mansion 2 and close to finishing it now. It has taken me a long time to get through it, which I think has a lot to do with how I feel that I have to set aside time to play it considering missions can take anywhere between 20 and 40 minutes to complete. I really love the game, it's great fun an so well made, but the way the levels work almost make it feel like a bit of a chore sometimes. I dunno.

Started Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. a few nights ago. Played about an hour and it seems cool. I'd like to finish Luigi's Mansion before I really get into it though.

Yeah man same I'm just past the Tule tree and the combat is great! I can see how the platforming is now getting pretty hard and expect it only to get harder but I don't mind, the game is great.

Been playing lots of Forza Horizon and, whilst the gameplay is fantastically fun, I'm finding the dialogue overly try hard. It has a decent sound track and great atmosphere however the one liners from main "baddies" and the radio commentary just reek of try hard "doolness". Like when the radio announcer talks about pink slip races that are "only at night" but, what does she know? She's a good girl **giggle**. ARGH. Why not just have pink slip races. Don't try to make them an underground thing in an area that is all about street racving. Blergh.

Loving the game though. Seems my closes rivals are Ben Smooth and Elektrixxx. They always seem to come up at the end of a race as the dudes to beat :)
It is very NFS with the dialogue though it isn't as bad as NFS The Run.
Won't take you long to finish it, around 6 hours drive time for all the events and took me 10 hours for all the open world stuff like collectibles.

I have almost finished Forza 5 (have around 40 mp races to do and 20 career races) then work on the affinity achievements and that is it.

I think we have a different marker for "finishing" a game though. I'm not interested in MP or achievements much so am just considering them complete when the "career mode" is done. Gonna take me a while in Forza 5 as I'll just play a few races here and there when I feel like it; not gonna bother grinding for the sake of crossing it off.

Forza Horizon however... different story. Loads of fun still :)

I also started Aliens: Colonial Marines last night. Reallyt enjoying it so far. Like an old arcadey type shooter. I must admit that I'd avoided getting it when it first came out due to the swathe of bad feedback regarding it. Grabbed it when it was $10 cheap (and after the DAFAP guys said how awful it was... not sure why that made me want to se for myself). Anyway, I've only just compeltewd the start but am finding it quite fun, but difficult.

Yes, that 'fun but difficult' soon turns into, 'what the fuck, where is a checkpoint and why are these xeno's so easy to kill and why are the guns so shit and why does the game look like crap and oh fuck it in the bin it goes'.

Mine doesn't look overly terrible. It's nothing super amazing but not anything I'd say looks over the top crap either.

Been playing Zelda: Link between worlds. I'm really enjoying it. I never played Link to the past so I'm really liking this game. A bit stuck now though..up to the lost woods and you have to follow these monster things to go the right way in the forest.

I just have to keep my eye on the right monster to follow lol. I haven't used a guide for the game yet

Link Between Worlds is a fantastic game! That and Guacamelee were easily my favourites of 2013.

Lately I've been playing the following:
FIFA 14 (PS4)
Knack (PS4)
Bravely Default (3DS)

I'm pretty far into Knack and I've got no idea why most of the reviews for it were negative, I've been really liking it so far!

Bravely Default is awesome, that's all I need to say about that one haha

Vive la Bravely Default. What chapter are you up to? I've just started getting side quests and alternate asterix's so am trying to figure out what to do job wise. The Summoner job class seems pretty week which makes me think it might get strong or have some kickass secondary abilities down the line. Need to find a friend who has it so I can abilink with them and try it out :)

Wanna become Nintendo buddies so we can get some extra in game goodness? Friends with in game benefits :) I have a special move down for my summon send so, at least, you know I'm not posting crap. Does about 2500 damage to a single enemy. Not bad for chapter 2 judging by what I'm getting from other people.

I finally got around to playing Fallout New Vegas. I've got through most of the content in the main game, and used a guide to replay the bits needed to see the other three endings. I think I'm going to give it a break before trying the DLC though ...

I've also been replaying Uncharted: Golden Abyss on crushing difficulty. The actual gun fights were fairly easy compared to the other games on this difficulty, but the gesture based quick time event boss battles were a pain. Unlike the easier difficulties, one mistake causes you to die. There is a very short time window for each swipe, and I couldn't always anticipate what the next swipe was going to be from the action, so I ended up memorising the exact order by trial and error.

For the most part I thought the game made good use of the touch screen, so this was a bit of a blemish.

I'm not very far into it at the moment since most of my gaming time lately has been on the PS4 but I have all 4 party members and the last job I got was the black mage so still pretty early on. Been making use of sleep mode and the town rebuilding feature though, progressed quite a bit through that haha.

But anyway, my friend code is 1177-8153-1349 :)

Sleep mode? Is that the bravely second stuff? I haven't used that much yet. Enjoying the town building addon. Just another of those "wait x minutes then click something else and restart timer" but a great addon and it works in well with the story.

Does Ringabell shit you as much as he shits me? Actually all the characters are pretty unlikable IMO. Except Edea. I like her.

I mean sleep mode as in closing the 3DS without turning the power off, I just leave it like that overnight and wake up to more items from the town building haha
