Yeah. According to http://o--o.jp/ 60 people were playing it yesterday.

There are also a few trophies in the game if you really need to be told what to do, but they're all quite random. They do fit together to make a nice mural when you collect them all though.

Yeah, I found the first few very easy to get and the others I'll be able to get pretty easily it seems. So the idea of the game is to open up the universe is that right? Straight away Saturn was found, so I don't know whether that's part of the game or a recent thing that's happened.

In Dark Souls I was overwhelmed by enemies and dashed blindy through five different areas before finding a bonfire in a basement. I'm definitely going back to check everything out more closely. I'm assuming this will become a frequent occurrence. It was exhilarating.

One complaint: it's difficult to pull off a kick with the controls. I'll try it sometimes and I'll accidentally swing my sword, leaving me vulnerable to those fucking pikemen.
Ahhh, the essence of ##### Souls :) That experience is, for me, one of the biggest drawcards. If it wasn't so punishing and tough then you probably wouldn't feel that strongly when stuff like that happens :)

I can't remember if Saturn was found when I played way back. I remember when the Moon and Mars unlocked though, and think I checked it out when I heard Jupiter had been reached. Haven't really looked back since.

The problem is that the distances got pretty large, and the player base dropped off (space is really really big).

Started playing Noby Noby Boy last night. Besides the fact I have no idea what I'm doing, it's actually really bloody enjoyable. Funny, ridiculous, over the top. Lots of fun. Still $2.50 on the PSN right now. A bargain if you ask me. But nobody asked me so that's unsolicited advice right there.
Noby Noby Boy is only $1.48 for PS+ subscribers. At that price, I'm buying it based on your recommendation alone! I have no idea what this game even is. :P

Also buying Divekick, at $4.68 PS+ price, just so I can hear the announcer say 'DIVE KICK!' at the start of each round in his hilarious fake Japanese accent.

My brother's friend saw me playing Dark Souls and proceeded to spoil so much shit. Told me the trick to beating a boss, where a cool sword was, what happens to that lady beneath the fire in Firelink Shrine, where I should and shouldn't go etc...I didn't know how to kindly articulate "shut up and let me figure this out my own damn self".

"shut up and let me figure this out my own damn self".
That probably would've done the trick.

I'm playing Brothers; A tale of Two Sons on PS3. It's certainly different, the only drama being it's glitched out twice to the point I've had to switch the console off.

I hate when that happens. If I were you I woulda just stopped playing and done something else if he repeatedly kept doing it and wouldn'/t listen to your requests... assuming you're adverse to pucnching him in the face and asking him to kindly "shut up cunt"

Yeah I stopped playing once he started saying "head left...no left...go left...run through this area". I intentionally got myself killed and said that'll do for now.

On a brighter note:

Yeah the Drake Sword is pretty broken. The game's still challenging if you use it just because of the nature of the game, but doing 200 damage each hit at the beginning of the game definitely helps.

These fucking gargoyles! I've managed to kill one of them four times but I always panic at this point and press the wrong buttons. All I had to do at one point was toss a firebomb but instead I swung my halberd into thin air like a dipshit and was toast.

And this is like the third boss I think? I'm so fucked.

The worst kind of death is when you've racked up a bunch of souls over previous deaths and then a lowly soldier catches you off guard before you recover them.

Hint for the Gargoyle boss fight (and any boss fight really). It's a game mechanic so not really a spoiler but I'll tag it just in case you don't want to see it.

Don't hold it against me if you don't like it!

So basically the whole point of this game is to open up more planets in the universe? Interesting.
