I think it's more that it's an always online game with players constantly interacting with each other, so being able to pause would mess with those mechanics. And I can see why it took you so long to beat the Asylum, the Wanderer is a tough way to start for a newcomer. Get yourself a 100% damage reduction shield asap and you'll get some more breathing room. Any idea what kind of build you're going to go? The Witch's Ring is a great choice if you're planning on really searching around for any clues into the lore of the game. It's the only gift item that you can't get any other way I believe. I recommend getting a pyromancy hand and learning some pyromancy spells too. They don't have any stat requirements so there's really nothing to lose apart from souls (which are easy to farm anyway). |

No idea what build I'm going for. I'm still not really sure how classes differ beyond the base stats but I assume it must go a lot deeper than that. So far I've levelled up on strength and endurance mostly. I was okay in the Asylum. I got stuck on that boss on the castle battlements with the huge club. I didn't realize my shield would be effective against it so it was destroying me in two hits. |

Had no idea Infamous Second Son was already due for release. This is the first game that makes me want to open my PS4 and start using it. |

Space, plus lack of any decent games. I have a bigger and more impressive library of games on queue with my PS3 still. I wont be opening the boxes of my new consoles and setting them up until I am entirely done with last gen. Lets just say I bought Infamous and decided to play it immediately, after I finish with it, I would have no reason to use it. I only have these consoles for exclusives, I am PC first choice. I really hate how this gen is not backward compatible, otherwise I would play the PS3 titles on PS4. Edited by Biceps Ben Six Pack Smooth, Mar 21 2014, 11:02 AM.

Started playing Noby Noby Boy last night. Besides the fact I have no idea what I'm doing, it's actually really bloody enjoyable. Funny, ridiculous, over the top. Lots of fun. Still $2.50 on the PSN right now. A bargain if you ask me. But nobody asked me so that's unsolicited advice right there. |

I did! It was... entertaining. I had no idea what I did and then I farted out a camel. |

You can also combine the things you eat. It's been a while since I've played it, but if you ate certain animals or plants and then ate a person, you could combine them together when you shat them out. Early on the content unlocking made it worth checking back occasionally (as the combined stretch length submitted by every player reached new planets, you could then visit them), but I don't think any new planets have unlocked since last played years back. Space is just too vast and people lost interest. |

I've read about the mixing of things, but I'm still not entirely sure what my goal is per level. I don't think anybody has played it in a long time to be honest. It's pretty old. The only reason I bought it was it was so damn cheap. |

There is no goal aside from stretching out and submitting your length to GIRL in the hope of eventually reaching another planet. That sounds a lot dirtier when written out than it did in my head. |

Nope, that sounds about right. So I just stretch, eat things, submit length and hope she likes it? |

In Dark Souls I was overwhelmed by enemies and dashed blindy through five different areas before finding a bonfire in a basement. I'm definitely going back to check everything out more closely. I'm assuming this will become a frequent occurrence. It was exhilarating. One complaint: it's difficult to pull off a kick with the controls. I'll try it sometimes and I'll accidentally swing my sword, leaving me vulnerable to those fucking pikemen. |
