How does it compare to Assassin's Creed Revelations, Prince of Persia Revelations, Myst IV: Revelation, and Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation?

Still slugging away at ACIII Liberation but it's becoming a chore. Lucky I've naught else to play on the handhelds atm.

Story is disjointed and frustrating. e.g. I just met my mother who abandoned me as a child. First words out of her mouth are "Aveline? It can't be you. But I left you there to..." blah blah blah. She then goes straight into talking about stuff she can't really know about (at least, not know about AND be surprised you're there), etc. Aside from the holes it's just poorly scripted and the voice acting is mostly horrible.

Gameplay wise it feels like a cut down, more linear version of AC. I love the disguise mechanic but it's barely used. Also, so far, there's none of the sub game stuff like buying shops so you're just stuck doing the main thing. I'm sure it's in there as they introduced the concept of running a rival out of town and buying his business in an earlier sequence.

Aside from that the game just feels buggy. There are tilt games that are sluggish and unresponsive and a stupid mechanic where you have to point the camera at a light. I pointed it directly at a downlight and STILL couldn't manage to get it to work. Ended up holding my hand over the camera and letting a little light thru to trick it.

Sigh. Stupid game.

Not so much what Im playing but what I want to play and I think will make an excellent community night mulitplayer event. PvZ Garden Warfare. Wondering what the interest levels are for this game.

I'm definitely down for this one! I'll have it on Xbox One
Get it on PC motherfucker.

RE Revelations and Assassins Creed Liberation are both fucking awesome. I played them both on the portable versions and that is what I expected, a stripped down version of what the consoles would have offered.

I see no reason to complain about either, technically none of the 2 were outstanding but it delivered a solid enough gameplay for a portable device.

I've been chipping away Broken Age and finding it to be an interesting and charming game. I'm glad the second part has been funded and hope to see it later this year!

I'm about 1100 points of awesome away from reaching level 11 of awesomeness on Rayman Legends. That equates to about 110 days of playing. So, not long now... Sigh.

All that I have been able to play Bravely Default. It's so gewd.
But I think I have my ideal (abeit somewhat broken/cheese) party set up now.

Up to chapter 7 now after already doing one of the endings in chapter 6.

Bravely Default is broken. Way too many invincible party setups :(

E.g. Level up Time Mage to max and Valkyrie high enough to get the skill "high jump". Give your party the Hasten World skill then just spam the fuck out of high jump with all characters. Unless you have particularly poor agility you will always get your turn first (pick ninja as your primary and set acrobatics to ability if you're having troubs... or equip stuff like haste boots). All your guys jump into the air; enemies can't target you so the round ends; enemies have nothing to target so they do nothing or deafult, you crash down and do damage; repeat.

You can either use acrobatics as a secondary skill and level up your other classes of use valkyrie as your primary and then have something like spell fencer as secondary so you get that sweet, sweet damage bonus :)

Good for a "proof of concept" if you wanna test it but horrible to use. Takes everything out of the game so only do it if you don't like gaming. Oh and it also doesn't work against those who have reactive skills like countering physical attacks. They'll always use those and get a hit on you back.

What's your current preferred party? Mine ended up being two swordmasters and two ninjas. Both with P.Attack up skills, that thing that makes katanas an S and dual wielding that super strong katana from the red adventurer dude (you get it from upgrading the weapon shop in your home town to 11). For all except the final boss I had spell fencer as secondary and, if I braved four times, was able to get in 8 hits of 8,000 dmg plus per hit.

The last boss... well... the last boss was just a cuntbag. Had to devote quite a bit of time to keeping people alive and vertical. Reraise was used quite a lot. Also that level 14 white mage skill that lets group spells have the same strenght per person as single spells. LOVE that skill.

What do you mean "doing on of the endings"?

Also are you redoing all the side quests or just sticking to the main. After the fourth time around I gave up and just did the orange ! s :) Playing it again on hard now (normal first time) and plan to do them all to see if they change the end. Doubt it will but... you never know.

Was kinda hoping I could smash a crystal by repeatedly pressing X after Airy the Fairy tells you to stop but it just modifies the dialogue slightly.

If interested add me as a 3DS friend. I have almost all jobs at 14 so you can link me to one of your guys and score some extra skills. Not that you probably need it :)
