Looks like you can only buy the game in combination with some of the DLC: the cheapest bundle being US$5. So while it isn't clear what value they place on the main game, you need to pay at least that much to try it out.

Well that blows. I note they do let you keep what you earn which is a plus though. Still... $5 for the "privilege" of being part of a beta? Nope sandwich!

I am (or was) playing Final Fantasy 6... on my smartphone. I know it's not exactly an ideal mobile game, but I got it into my head that I would play it during my long long journey to China and beyond. As it turned out, I didn't touch it on my trip, and now the movement controls are doing my head in, so I've put it on the backburner for the moment. Seems like a good game though.

I also started Gemini Rue on the laptop. The story seems promising and I like the atmosphere. Reminds me of Blade Runner a bit, with its perennial rain, downbeat noir ambience, and a rundown futuristic city to explore.

Felt the need to play a FPS after finishing Dishonoured and went to BLOP2. Played about 4 levels and bored out of mind so I just uninstalled the game and tried something else.

Enter Wolfenstein. Now this is an enjoyable FPS, I certainly understand the praise the game received.

Yeah I'm sure you'll find it a lot meatier and satisfying than Cawwadooty™ Nerf™ guns.

Who the heck has the patience to beat the Dark World in Super Mear Boy? Some of these levels are masochistic. Anyone managed it? I beat the Light World, except for a few levels in Cotton Alley. The game is quite fun but Binding of Isaac is the creator's masterpiece.

The first Black Ops I played the Most MP of all the COD games (though the campaign was average).

2nd game was a big letdown, the MP was essentially the same as the MW games (that and the MW3 MP were so similar). Ghosts MP I only played locally against bots, the campaign was 6 hours long on Veteran.

I never understood why people like Halo, it is one of the most boring FPS games.

I've slightly given up trophy hunting, but... one of my goals is to get the Super Meat Boy platinum. Whether that will be possible or not... who knows... I haven't succeeded in either yet.

Its not just the campaign that I have a problem with, I have never been a fan of Treyarch's handling of the game mechanics either. I get absolutely no sense of shooting from the weapons, enemies feel like paper weights and the movement feels like the character is floating on air.

I cant even remember the campaign of BLOPS1, goes to show how memorable it was. Playing BLOPS2 im like wtf is going on, none of this makes any sense, the characters are not memorable.

Im done with COD, no more wasting my time or money on any of the later games.

It's interesting you say that as Tryarch have the best track record with their multiplayer. They put together a much better package than infinity ward.
The worst for character movement is Ghosts, by a long shot. I don't know how they did it, but they managed to make everything just feel so bad
