Fair enough. I can't get enough of the story though and the gameplay is just sublime :)

I just can't get my head around strategy games like that. Them and tower defense games just do my head in. I don't have the ability to plan/construct environments for attacking. When I did used to play Starcraft waaay back in the day over a dial up modem, I'd always die a horrible death whilst I was off mining trying to build a base.

SP Campaggin and coop missions are a lot kinder in the recent games. In most cases you can take it slow, build up a massive army then just dominate

Sure. I can see that. As much as I say people should broaden their horizons when playing games, I just can't get my head around that kind of game.

Fair enough. I can't fathom why people like the Katramari games but they're insanely popular :)

That's a little different though as there's really not much skill involved in Katamari games. You just roll and collect stuff. Whereas with a strategy game, you have to build up a strategy and plan in advance. It's like chess, you have to think three turns ahead to know where you're going to be and where you're going to attack.

Katamari is like somebody took the catch phrase from Pokemon - gotta catch em all - and then really simplified that idea to the most basic idea. And threw in a fucking weirdo as the lead.

Obviously you've never tried to catch the cowbear.

Starcraft II's campaign is basically the only RTS game I actually like.
Fuck_Giver.exe has stopped working!
Does it matter how I write the truth?

I feel the same with games which require you to do crafting, farming, mining and so on. Nobody tell Chickan.

I booted up my PS2 to play God of War but I have a weird issue with the game disc. The game will run fine for about 15 minutes but then music starts to cut out, there's stuttering when characters speak, and load times become longer until the game eventually freezes either when I die and reload or try to save (but I can die/save at the same locations sometimes without a problem). After that, I can only reload my save after leaving the console alone for a while. I thought the PS2 was the issue, but I played God of War 2 for an hour with no problems. Why is the GoW1 game disc faltering over time and is there anything I can do beyond cleaning the disc?

It's just strange because the same music and voices that cut out run smoothly the next time I play. It's like the console is doing something to the disc.

I'm not sure. I'm also not sure why you'd play that one as the HD remasters are really great.

Why give people "lives" if you can just continue from where you were if you lose them all!?
