I couldn't get into Amnesia: The Dark Descent--I think I was too eager to get my first monster encounter out of the way. I should have another go. Edited by ransworld, Feb 11 2014, 07:28 PM.

Okay I finished Outlast. Except for a few annoying stealth parts it's a great haunted house experience. The ending was funny (I'm pretty sure it was meant to be...it was just so hammy and the credits music complimented the hamminess.) The game is scary to play but it doesn't leave any lingering fear once you stop playing. I give it a B. Edited by Moo, Feb 11 2014, 11:15 PM.

Give it a shot, it works so perfectly as a horror game. I need to play the sequel which is supposed to be less scary. |

Yeah the sequel's pretty average. Made by the guys who did Dear Esther so they of course they fucked it up and took all of the game mechanics out so it's basically you walking around with a lantern reading shit, with an occasional puzzle every several hours. I've never seen a sequel fail so horrible at recognising and building on the principles of its predecessor. |

I started playing Batman Arkham City a few days ago (finally) and it's pretty cool. I'm 5 hours in and only have 7% overall completion! So much side stuff to get distracted by and it seems that a lot of villains have some part in the game. Also I played for a while as Catwoman which was okay, but I find her controls for roaming the city are kinda weird. |

Been replaying Final Fantasy XIII-2 and it's waaaaaay cheesier than I remember. I've actually laughed out loud at some of the comments and stupid animations. Like this : http://youtu.be/oChZkf4QQG0?t=2m29s Noel's crappy one liner; getting hit by a giant fist that just knocks him over; then, most importantly, Serah's stupid dancey thing before holding out her bow at a wierd angle. Still a great game but it's interesting how, when not wowed by the graphics, how bad the dialogue and animations can be. Loving the story and combat though... and it still look rool purdy |

I've also been playing Titanfall on both platforms. I recognise it as good, but it's less likely I'll buy it. I feel I only have room for one multiplayer game, and for now it's still gonna remain Battlefield 4. I'll buy it if I can use a Titanfall controller wireless on the Origin version. |

Fuck you Rayman Legends! Started playing it from the beginning (this time with trophies) and am soooo hooked again! 71 out of 72 tweenies in the first world and all gold! Woohoo! Don'tcha love games that start out soft so you feel awesome? Lol. Now if I can just find the king on the "How to Shoot your Dragon" level. Damn interesting how different it is from WiiU actually. Some parts I prefer without the tablet but the bits where you press O to make the frog guy move shit are heaps more fun on the gamepad. On the WiiU it's more like Rayman Jungle Run and you have to move stuff on the touch screen to clear a path for your autorunning buddy. On PS it's just more platforming but where you have to press O... which is sometimes a little annoying as you need to do it whilst jumping and can be tricky. Still... so much fun!!!! |

Battlefield 4. That's pretty much it. Even though since player appreciation month started the servers are laggy as anything I still am playing pretty much daily, I think I need help |

I have and while it is good, I'm a little bored of the beta. Played it most of sat and hit max level. While I think Titanfall will be great, I think they may have overhyped it little |

asassins creed liberation is reminding me of how much i hate collectibles in these games. pointless and increasingly out of context. im collecting my mothers diary pages now. latest was in the bayou... in a big carved out tree... full of candles... in an unpopulated part of a forwst. wtf?! i get that it suits the style but fuck! also some of the accents are horrible. so american with a tiny bit of accent! |
