So it is bad design where a game that has you role play as criminals also allows you to act like a selfish arsehole and/or a sociopath?

In the way that it works here, yes absolutely. In-arguably. Objectively so. Allowing players to essentially sabotage matchmaking functionality goes way above and beyond role-playing as a criminal and enters the territory of allowing players to break the game for everyone else. Some people are experiencing the opposite problem to me where the host is the greedy one. They'll get people to agree to a certain cut and then lower it once they've agreed to nothing so they don't notice. If you want to implement some kind of greed / betrayal system into the game that allows you to make off with a larger share, this has to be the absolute worst way to do it.

Finished off the first act to Broken Age last night. Would have to say that I'd be mighty frustrated if I had to wait until now to start playing Act 2 if I started playing it last year. Such a great cliff hanger. Really enjoying this game quite a bit.

Adventure Time Card Wars. Not entirely what I expected. Not like the card game and it's choc full of micro transactions and levelling. I'm used to these things being a straight translation not this different. Still fun though and the show references are perfect.

Bastion. Quite enjoying it so far, seems pretty cool.

Also pre-loading Witcher 3 right now. 10/10, would pee pants with excitement again. I'm using the new Galaxy client to do so, I think it's a good idea. It definitely needs a bit of work to add some functionality that I'd like to see (like easily adjusting bandwidth limits) but I think a GOG client is the right move. Not only is it entirely optional, it's still DRM free and unlike Steam they show their prices in AUD. I would basically never visit GOG's website but the client will give me much more reason to browse their store.

Kinase regret not buying Witcher 3 for $38 USD from GMG during that whole debacle.

meh, I'll wait for the eventual Enhanced/GOTY edition with all the add-ons.

Bloody GOG Galaxy. Downlaoded the GOG downloader to grab one of my games last week then, this week, they want me to download that instead!

Not good enough. Never playing their games again. So what do I do with my week off next week now?!

It's not neglected. It's what stops loose leaf paper from flying off my desk when unexpected breezes appear

GOG Galaxy is optional. Also, if you've downloaded games with the downloader, Galaxy will recognise this and you won't need to re-install games.

So, what's the problem?

I couldn't download the Witcher 3 with downloader. It forced me to change to downloader. It's not really a problem. I was being.,.. what's the opposite of facetious?

It looks like you can download it without Galaxy when the game is released. Galaxy is only needed if you want to pre-load.

If you can't download it, you could watch Nich Richardson from The Roast play it:

I played a bit of Dark Souls 1 & 2 last night and the combat is so slow compared to Bloodborne. There were multiple times where an enemy would land a hit and I'd instinctively roll towards them to try and recoup the lost HP. I kept ignoring the shield and payed for it. I kept trying to parry before realizing that parrying is harder and less important. In terms of combat, Bloodborne just blows them out of the water. It's so much more fluid and fun.
