Cool. I ended up grabbing it because it's got quite a discount with PSPlus right now. From $39 it's down to $26 so that sealed the choice for me. I'll grab Titan Souls and Axiom Verge eventually and will hope that Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China comes to PSPlus soon - although it's not too expensive so might grab that along the way. It looks nice. |

I was planning on reviewing it so I'll see how quickly I get through Broken Age and review that. Still trying to decide whether I should jump into grabbing Ori and the Blind Forest now or wait for a sale... hmmm... |

God damn this soundtrack. *see Milhouse picture I think it's my favourite Rouge-like. It isnt too grindy (Rogue Legacy) and its core gameplay is as strong as Spelunky. Edited by Red Panda, Apr 30 2015, 12:01 AM.

I started BA Act 2 and had no idea what was going on. Would've been nice if they added an opening recap. I'm starting over. |

In case you didnt know, you can change the soundtrack mode somewhere in the options menu. From the original one (which is composed by the Super Meat Boy / Binding of Isaac dude) and the 2 others being a EDM and Metal arrangement. They all sound awesome and add so much to the replayability for some reason. being that it's a music game and all. |

It's messing with my head. Everything I do after playing follow s a rhythm. Responding to this post... scrolling the forums... argh! It's interesting how often I die because of the beat. There's nothing saying you HAVE to keep moving to the music but I just can't bring myself to stop and lose that multiplier

Lol. That's one of those things I hate on support forums. Not applicable to your post really but it just reminded of it. Someone starts a thread Person 1 : I'm having trouble doing blah - can someone help me? Person 2 : I'm having trouble too. Any help would be appreciated Person 3 : Sell it and buy a **alternate product** Person 4 : I'm having this problem as well Person 5 : **resolution related to something completely unrelated** Person 6 : Sorted it out. Thread closed ARGH! At least post the answer! Again, that's not directed at you Jingles as you didn't start a new dedicated thread then not tell the answer when other people had state dhtey had the problem

Yeah, I usually hate that. I'll add a part about it in my review as the cross save on PC uses dropbox so you can access it on Mac/Linux/Windows/Android no problem. Here, it's a similar thing, just a bulky process to take. So... I started playing it on my PS4. I then wanted to play it on my Vita. I knew there was a Cross Save function available so I assumed that would be in built in the game. Wrong! So, last night when I tried to download the save from the PS4 onto my Vita, I couldn't do it. I was in bed, so I didn't particularly want to get up and do it from the PS4 so I remote access'd my PS4 from my Vita and made sure the most recent save was in the cloud. Then I disconnected the link, went it Content Management on my Vita, then went into another area - I am thinking it's called All Saves, but I know it's not - and downloaded it that way. Because it's a PS4 save, it's not recognised automatically as a Vita save. Compared to stuff like Counterspy or Hotline Miami which has such an easy cross save, well, here it's a little bit frustrating. It's a step in the right direction though with having a cross save for different platforms. Sadly, if I bought it on Steam, it doesn't mean that I can load my PS4 save onto Steam and upload it there. I doubt that will ever happen, but it's a world that one can dream of. |

GTA Online sucks in the same way that Skyrim sucks. There's some really good foundation but it's buried under glitches, bad game design decisions and a lack of polish. Very disappointing. GTA 5 honestly ended up being the exact opposite of what I expected. I thought I'd be relatively disinterested in the singleplayer (after how boring the mission design in 4 was) and that the online would be the real meat of the experience, as 4 was for me. However, I ended up having quite a good time with the singleplayer and becoming quickly disillusioned with GTA Online before even getting to level 30. Here's the big thing that grinds my gears about Online. The main thing I'm interested in doing is Heists. Now, I prefer hosting the heists myself rather than joining other people's for a few reasons. Firstly, I can actually use aim assist which is downright necessary for playing with a controller imho. Secondly, I can kick people who are low level who try to join up, but are realistically going to be a liability and just cause us to fail over and over. Thirdly, I can actually do each day of the heist in order, which is nice and makes a lot more sense. And lastly, I'm in control of who does what role. When you host a heist, your crew members get paid by the day, because they're just being randomly placed into the one day with you, which makes sense. You as the host don't get paid until the finale day. Each day before the finale you have absolutely no say in the fact that you don't get paid and cannot adjust the amounts that your crew gets paid. You get nothing and the crew members get a fixed amount. Now, I'm actually totally fine with the idea of that. In addition to the fact that the host has to actually pay setup fees for the heist to take place, it's an incentive to actually see the heist through to the finale rather than just abandoning it after completing the first few days. And, obviously, the host gets a significantly larger share than the finale crew does owing to the fact that they had to pay setup fees and haven't been paid for the 5 days of the heist in total.... At least by default. This is where rockstar went full retard. Unlike every other day of the heist where nobody has any say in how much they're paid, the finale allows you to set the percentage of the take each players gets. This absolutely ruins the game. All that happens is the people who get placed into the finale day of your heist just demand a higher cut. The heist I'm trying to do gives me a 55% cut of $275'000 and the other 3 crew members a 15% cut of $75'000. As far as I'm concerned this is entirely fair. I had to pay $40'000 to set up the heist and I've completed 4 previous days of the heist while receiving no pay. However, at least one of the crew members will be a greedy cunt with absolutely no appreciation for this and will demand more. Where the shit really hits the fan is that the greedy crew member essentially has more power than the host does and can hold the heist at ransom. If they don't get their way, they can just leave. And, because of the way the matchmaking works, all of this It's an astoundingly bad bit of design. The cut % for the crew should just be non-negotiable on the finale the way it is on every other day. It legitimately breaks the game due to being so susceptible to greed and toxic behaviour. If I had to sum up GTA Online for anyone interested: It's flawed, but with some great ideas and content. You'll be able to tolerate the flaws with friends and ultimately enjoy yourself. Don't touch matchmaking with a barge pole unless you want to be driven to suicide...
