As for The Order, the second I first heard of it I thought it would be one of those games early in a console's run that looks pretty but blows. Your Perfect Dark Zero's and whatnot. |

No, I think the new gameplay design of restricting the player with certain rules on certain levels is definitely where it's all from. Having to go melee only or not being able to pick up a new weapon make it objectively harder. |

I havent played Hotline Miami 2 yet, but from what I've seen, I see alot wide open areas which worries me. The first i mostly played it like a top down counterstrike on drugs: using positioning, line of sight advantages and exploited alot of corners for when i had a melee weapon. |

That's still very much intact I think, you just have to clear areas kind of methodically and bait people correctly with the open areas. Counter Strike on drugs is a good description I hadn't heard before. |

I have to say though, that the game's (imo) biggest flaw is still intact in that the graphics occasionally don't make it clear or obvious as to what you can be seen over / shoot over and what you can't. There's some annoying trial and error there, still. |

I agree. And it's a little glitchy too. I had a dog run into a wall then got stuck in the wall and I couldn't kill him. |

Oh yeah, the game is actually noticeable glitchy right now. That level where you break out of the police station and there's a guy running around the level dual wielding pistols, I managed to shoot him through a wall, and he just ran around the outside of the map to my entrance and killed me. Guys also regularly glitch out in door ways and I can't quite kill them, they just spaz out for a bit. |

Just installed and started Cities: Skyline. Anyone know if there's a "snap to grid" option? I like my cities to be all square |

The default road setting is straight lines, which snaps to a grid. To build a straight road, click the left mouse button at the starting point, drag the the point you want and click again to build the road. You can cancel with the right mouse button. ![]() ![]() ![]() The other road options are curved road, freeform road, one-way road and upgrade road. |

I asked too soon. Seems it does snap to a grid, in a fashion, but you have to have placed the first road down first. Derp. Silly Dave. Well DaveyTown was a flop... sort of. The citizens were happy but, by the time I realised how I SHOULD have planned my city, it was too late to move stuff. Didn't have the room to manage traffic coming off the highway ![]() Now I know what I'm doing it's time to start again! If Trying to be a little more "green" this time around and selected an area with more forestry resources instead of oil/coal. Wind Turbines and dams. Edited by Derpstrom, Mar 18 2015, 05:01 PM.

Just started the Talos Principle and got through 2 hours of its early puzzles. Uhh, why did this not make it in any year end lists or get much recognition last year? The puzzle designs and bite-sized pacing is excellent in the same way that made Portal and The Swapper great. It's got a really strange and appealing setting too that reminds me alot of the old Myst games, or even the early quiet and abstract areas of FEZ. Edit: it looks like it released in mid December, where nobody cares about games released in that month lol. Edited by Red Panda, Mar 19 2015, 12:08 AM.

I tried the demo and liked the puzzles, but I didn't read a word from those logs on the computers because it was some crap about 'what is god' and whatnots like in The Swapper how it's about consciousnesses and such. It's on my list of games to get when cheap. Edited by Moo, Mar 19 2015, 01:05 AM.

What the fuck. There's 6 chapters in Hotline Miami 2. You're kidding me right? Man this game is way too long. |

I'm in chapter 4 and it really hasn't felt that long to me. I'm glad there's still a decent amount of levels left. |

Finished watching BTS. Spoiler: click to toggle The crime of this game is that the good actors and artists toiled in the name of the shameful turd of a script. I'm stunned that with the budget they had that they didn't have someone to rein in the pretentious, cliche, sub-Hallmark writing. Edited by Moo, Mar 19 2015, 01:15 PM.
