I enjoyed that part because it meant making a plan of which bosses I'd tackle. Was a really enjoyable challenge.

One of the enemies shouted out 'cor blimey' when I shot him in The Order: 1886. Unintentional hilarity is great.

I've been trying to get into Final Fantasy XIII-3. Anyone here played it? Seems to have time based story missions and you just have to run around doing side quest stuff in the interim. Feels a bit vague though and empty areas make me feel like I'm just filling ni time with random enemy encounters :(

I started it a few months back and at first I was really into it. However, I started to hate the timer and eventually shelved the game. With big open worlds, I like to take my time exploring and building up my character, but in this game you have a real-time deadline. If you fail, it means game over and you have to start over >:(

I enjoyed #2 though and was hoping this would have been an improvement on that. Hell I even kinda enjoyed the first in the FF13 trilogy!

I've been distracted by Wolfenstein New Order now which is surprising me with how much fun it is! For some reason I'm happy to let it be stupidly unrealistic, story wise, where I'd be put off with other games. Maybe it's because of the "old school" mechanics like eating food for health and picking up hat upon hat for additional armor :) Ridiculously stupid and cliche story but done so badly it feels good.

Finally beat the multi boss battle in Super Mario 3D flower world. Turns out it was the final stage, although another world can be unlocked but that would require every green star, every stamp and every gold flag pole touch. Not going to bother with this, so ill end the game now officially.

Lol. That's EXACTLY the point I got to. When I saw the requirements for the final area I really couldn't be arsed any more. Not going to play the game to the point of grinding just to see that extra little bit of content (although I do like that they have it in there)

Oh, trust me, we know that the Final Fantasy fanbase loves games with a strong resemblance of number 2.

I played the To the Moon minisodes. Unfortunately To the Moon was good in spite of its lead characters. They aren't that interesting on their own.

Loved Wolfenstein. Sure, it's just a shooter, but what a shooter it is! Great great fun. Played through it twice to see both stories play out and found it great.

Playing through Apotheon right now and surprised to see the Sartyrs wandering around drunk with raging hard ons. I guess it's sort of sticking with the era.
