I wish I played Luigis Mansion but I just never did. I'll grab Luigis Mansion 2 one day.
Its the reason why Im playing it, I bought LM2 recently.

Its amazing that when LM first came out, I played it but never really progressed that far into it, pretty much gave it up and eventually sold off my copy which I regretted. Im a more mature patient gamer these days with this type of genre and have already progressed so much further.

Must say Im just on the Nintendo hype train at the moment. Been playing Kid Icarus on 3DS, Super Mario 3d world on Wii U and am ready to fire up some Mario Kart 8, Luigis Mansion 2 and Bayonetta 1 & 2 soon.

Still trying to get my hands on LEGO city undercover which is impossible to find in the stores and has already become one of those overpriced titles sold on ebay because its rare to find.

Also looking to get into Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, the mini games in 3d World are amazing and a full game would be even better.

Wii U easily the best console this gen.

For me its Wii U > PS4 > Xbone. Xbone has been a complete disappointment, not much to look forward to either for exclusives.

I cant handle the 4:3 resolution and the big ass black bars on the sides. Im pretty impressed on how decent the quality of visuals are with the game running on dolphin especially being a GC game and 14 years old. Its better quality than wii games played on the wii.
The Gamecube had some surprisingly decent quality visuals. That said don't forget that Dolphin recompiles the games it emulates and, as such, is giving you a better experience than the original anyway.

If you're impressed with LM you should fire up the Resident Evil 1 remake for GameCube. That blew me away on the console and even more on Dolphin.
They just did a HD re-release of it too, so that's a decent option.

I started playing Trials Fusion. I don't think I've been able to beat any of ransworld's scores so far.

I just beat The Binding of Isaac (as in I completed The Chest). It was the first time The Chest was available to me and coincidentally the most insanely overpowered run I've ever had. I got Polyphemus and Brimstone on the first floor (Brimstone adds 3 damage, Polyphemus adds 4 damage and then multiplies the total by 2), and even got a speed upgrade to increase the above combo's slow fire rate. Add a shitload of extra HP and soul hearts and there was no challenge. The Chest was a walk in the park. It kinda feels unfair that I happened to stumble on the equivalent of god mode in what should have been an extremely hard run, but it was funny anyway just mowing down bosses like they were spiders and flies.

The Witcher 2's sure stepped it up a notch and decided to throw large groups against me now :( My survival rate has lowered significantly!

Lol, I recall making a conscious effort to beat all of Janssen4444's high scores, as he was the only person on my friends list who had the game. I guess I'll have to monitor the scoreboard now!

Okay, Base Defense was ludicrously easy. Very fun but damn, once the initial worry of defending on two fronts was over I just set up camp on the balcony and blazed down anything that entered the 8-man overwatch. I think it'd be spookier if aliens continued to fly in from the opposite end. I only lost 2 of those non-soldiers.

But that said this is the mission that made me quit in frustration the first time around so maybe I over-prepared.

I played a little of Life Is Strange today. I won't give anything away, but its a pretty unique adventure game with a heavy emphasis on decision-making and even has a time travel mechanic. I'm an hour in and it's looking very promising.

The first episode is available now for ~$5 on Steam.

I've decided that I'm not buying any episodic games anymore until they're fully released. Playing an hour or two every two months really cheapens the experience. So it'll be fun when I finally play Kentucky Route Zero in 2017.

As someone who can take a few months to finish a short campaign, I don't mind episodic games. They break up a game into manageable pieces that I feel more inclined to finish as I know they're only short. So far, it's worked for me.

Getting back into gtav. This is such a great game. Given how much I hated gtaiv I'm amazed at the improvements here. It's ridiculously fun to play and the swapping of characters means you don't get bored doing same old same old missions.
